Some Information on Qari Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais

The rise of Islam offers perhaps the most impressive example in world history of the power of words to alter human behavior in sudden, surprising ways. Bestowed of everything Allah(swt) made some people unique in the world, to showcase his path via them. Being a receiver of excellence award Abdul Rahman Ibn Abdul Aziz as-Sudais never praises his work.Sheikh AL Sudais is known for the particularity of his voice and for his emotional recitation of the Quran in accordance with Tajweed.

"And Seek (Allah's) help with Sabr (patience) and Salat (prayers): it is indeed hard, except to those who are humble" (Qur'an Al-Baqara 2:45).

Abdul Rahman Ibn Abdul Aziz as-Sudais an-Najdi is a Saudi world renewed qari, he was born in Saudi Arabia and he's originally from the Anza clan. Al Sudais is the leading imam of the Grand mosque in the Islamic city of Mecca.

Abdul Rahman Ibn Abdul Aziz as-Sudais is also known for his frequent sermons calling on believers to help other Muslims.In June, 2004, Sudais led a following of 10,000 in prayers for inter-faith peace and harmony. Abdul Rahman Ibn Abdul Aziz as-Sudais believes that youth need to be taught Islamic law, including the precepts of the prohibition on killing oneself and the prohibition against attacking non-Muslims living in Islamic countries. Every individual should be “indiscriminately hurl the label of atheism and not to confuse between legitimate jihad and the terrorizing of peaceable people”

In 2005, Al-Sudais was named by the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) Organising Committee as its 9th annual "Islamic Personality Of the Year" in recognition of his devotion to the Quran and Islam. When accepting his award in Dubai, he said: "The message of Islam and Muslims is modesty, fairness, security, stability, sympathy, harmony and kindness. Sudais stated that he believes that youth need to be taught Islamic law, including the precepts of the prohibition on killing oneself and the prohibition against attacking non-Muslims living in Islamic countries.

He said “Islam teaches a moderate path”, resoluted of conflicts through dialogue and negotiations taking into consideration the social and economic benefits that can be achieved by resolving these disputes.
